37 How I Finally Made My Peace With Religion

I grew up Catholic. I even went to Catholic school and everything. Whenever I use to meet others who’d been subjected to the same fate, I’d give them a knowing look, followed by “Ah, so you know my suffering…” I couldn’t discuss religion in general without adopting a heavy, sarcastic tone. Religion, to me, was […]

5 Why Children Blame Themselves

Many of us carry enormous scars from our childhood. Some of these were formed by living through obviously traumatic experiences, but many resulted from seemingly mundane incidents that caused us to form life-long beliefs. At the heart of most of these beliefs is the tendency for children to take any negative event and immediately turn […]

11 Vibrational Discord Explained (Article)

Our emotions serve as a feedback system, letting us know how close or far away we are from Who We Really Are. Negative emotions are an indicator of vibrational discord. But what exactly do I mean by vibrational discord, and how does that translate into real world examples of how we manifest our reality? Read […]

20 If We All Create Our Reality, How Do Competitions Work?

Our need to compete comes from the belief that there’s a limited amount of resources, and every time someone else gets some, it leaves less for us. It’s the belief that in order for us to win, someone else must lose. But this isn’t in line with who we really are. There’s not a finite pool of energy from which we can create. Our creative energy (and remember, everything is energy) is unlimited and expanding all the time. As we raise our vibration and remember who we really are, competition as we know it becomes less and less important.
