A few weeks ago, I wrote a Blog post about Being Authentic. I received a few emails and a comment asking me to give some examples demonstrating exactly what someone would say in a truly authentic conversation. So, dear readers, that is what I’m going to give you today. If you like this post and […]
FengShuiLifeMapping.com published a guest post by yours truly today. The site’s Owner – Salvatore Manzi specializes in helping people implement the Law of Attraction through Feng Shui. I thought I’d break down how Feng Shui actually works to help you attract the life you want. When I first heard about Feng Shui, years ago, […]
Last month, Tracy McMillan published a controversial piece in the Huffington Post called Why You’re Not Married. The post sparked a series of angry and/or passionate rebuttals from the blogosphere. Many were offended by Tracy’s take on why they had so far failed to secure a husband and felt attacked by her reasoning, like Jessica […]
We create our reality through the vibrations we send out. These vibrations are a result of the thoughts we think and focus on. The vibrations attract others like it (this is the Law of Attraction at work), until enough energy has been gathered to bring it into the physical. This process is fully explained in […]
For the last few years, on my birthday, I’ve been deciding how old I was going to turn that year. It had no relation to my actual age, but was more of a reflection of a.) how I felt and b.) what I thought I could get away with. I even made a joke about […]
Anna* came home on Friday after a long, rough day at work. All she wanted to do was take off her heels, pour herself a glass of wine and have a chat about her day with her husband Bill. Bill had had a tough day as well, and was having a beer on the couch, […]
I rarely watch the news or read the paper. I haven’t done so for years. But when I do, I’m always struck by how much fighting is going on. I’m not just talking about wars and civil unrest, I’m talking about the corporate takeovers, the law suits, the backstabbing and infighting. Ordinary people bearing grudges […]
I had an interesting experience last night that caused me to take a look at my money vibration. More to the point, I had to make a decision whether or not to spend a rather large amount of money (large enough to make me uncomfortable) on something that I thought I needed. This dilemma led […]
There are a lot of books on the market that claim to be able to tell you what your dreams mean. You can find whole “dream dictionaries”, that will tell you exactly what each object or vision you saw in your dreams will mean for you and your future. If you dreamt of clear water, […]
I’ve never lived my life by what other people would consider conventional rules. From a very early age, what others considered as “normal” often just didn’t make any sense to me. I questioned everything, which didn’t really make me all that popular with the nuns and priests at the catholic school I attended. I’ve always […]
I was having tea with a friend today, who’s in the process of starting an exciting new business she’s really passionate about. During a discussion about marketing, customer acquisition and business models, we also talked about some old fears which were rearing their ugly heads. She’s entering into a higher risk situation (starting a business […]
I’ve always loved music. But it wasn’t until a few years ago that I became really conscious of the fact that music could have a profound effect on me, and that I could use this effect to deliberately change the way I feel.
Our emotions serve as a feedback system, letting us know how close or far away we are from Who We Really Are. Negative emotions are an indicator of vibrational discord. But what exactly do I mean by vibrational discord, and how does that translate into real world examples of how we manifest our reality? Read […]
What you see around you isn’t what “is”. It’s what “was”. You’re literally looking at your vibrational past. But by insisting that what you’re perceiving is how it is NOW, you keep creating the same reality over and over again.
Our need to compete comes from the belief that there’s a limited amount of resources, and every time someone else gets some, it leaves less for us. It’s the belief that in order for us to win, someone else must lose. But this isn’t in line with who we really are. There’s not a finite pool of energy from which we can create. Our creative energy (and remember, everything is energy) is unlimited and expanding all the time. As we raise our vibration and remember who we really are, competition as we know it becomes less and less important.
We don’t have to find ourselves. All we have to do is drop the masks. And breathe. The relief that comes with finally showing people who you really are is phenomenal. It’s what we all want – to be authentic, to stop being afraid and just let our true selves show through.
